Where would you most like to visit in the world and why: I would love to go to New Zealand and explore the many different views – It’s where Lord of the Rings was filmed.

What’s your favorite board game and why: Yahtzee – It was the game we would play as a family when we went camping.

What’s your favorite genre of music or musical artists/band: I love every genre of music. I love classical music like Mozart, Classic Rock, Country, Jazz – I love it all. Music is my love.

We were thrilled to speak with Rebecca for an interview to hear her story firsthand. Here it is:

Biller & Kimble: How did you start working as a delivery driver?

Rebecca Brandi-Vanmeter: I applied at my favorite pizza place, Pizza Hut.

BK: What was your favorite delivery driver job or city?

RBV: The only town I was a driver in was Fallon, Nevada.

BK: How did you learn you might not be reimbursed enough for your vehicle costs?

RBV: After an unfortunate event, I was in an accident delivering pizza.

BK: What advice do you have for other drivers?

RBV: Make sure with your car insurance company what coverage you need exactly to work as a delivery driver, especially if you are using your own vehicle. Keep track of mileage, keep gas and car maintenance receipts, and keep track of your time on the road delivering vs. your time in the store. Another important thing is make sure that you fill out any forms yourself at the end of each shift if required, don’t allow anyone else to do this for you. Keep accurate records too.
