In law, as in life, skill without passion is soulless. Passion without skill is ineffectual. Jess is a rock star because she has both—a love of helping others and the skills to do it well.
Jess started as an intern at a City Prosecutor and later worked at a Personal Injury law firm. She joined our firm as a paralegal in 2020 and quickly became a key part of our team. Jess is able to manage the details of a lawsuit, while still providing valuable “big picture” strategic insights to our clients and lawyers. Jess works directly with our clients and assists in all aspects of litigation.
From Jess: “Moving into wage and hour law has been the easiest transition because it is focused on helping others.”
Jess’s hero is her father, who, at the age of 14, started a business with Jess’s grandfather. He built the business from the ground up and, today, is the sole owner of a highly successful company. Jess and her father still collect coins together, specifically wheat pennies. Jess also plays indoor soccer, cooks, and is a half-marathon runner.
