We were thrilled to speak with Cory for an interview to hear his story firsthand. Here it is:
Biller & Kimble: How did you start working as a delivery driver?
Cory Edwards: I was in the beginning of a divorce and needed a quick paying job.
BK: What was your favorite delivery driver job or city?
CE: Boise, Idaho. The city is absolutely beautiful at night.
BK: How did you learn you might not be reimbursed enough for your vehicle costs?
CE: I just started running the numbers through my head during deliveries. You have a lot of time to think when you are driving all over the city.
BK: What advice do you have for other drivers?
CE: Make sure you are getting what you are supposed to. Don’t expect anyone to count your money for you, whether it comes in tips, pay, or expenses.
