Overview

Joe comes from a union family that taught him the value of hard work and what goes into making a dollar at a job. He has taken that background and his legal mind to become a fierce advocate for blue collar workers.

Joe believes we have much to learn from our history. A resident of Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, he is reminded every day of the remarkable feats accomplished by the generations before us—things like the now-forgotten Cincinnati subway system. Joe believes that many of our society’s greatest achievements were the result of collective action and a collective will to do better. He is proud to work alongside his clients to bring about positive change for workers today.

Joe takes inspiration from Muhammad Ali. From Joe: “He worked to be the greatest at his craft, he stood up for what he believed in, even when it cost him everything, and all the while he always had something profound and witty to say.”

Prior to joining Biller & Kimble in 2023, Joe worked at a large, national firm doing transactional law. In his spare time, Joe plays competitive basketball and trains in fitness boxing. He is also an avid swimmer, having swam in the U.S. Open Championship twice, USA Winter National Championship, and the Canadian Olympic Trials. Joe is also on the board of Lane 8, an organization that encourages participation in competitive swimming and encourages positive life skills at Cincinnati Recreation Commission swimming pools in underserved Cincinnati neighborhoods.
