Federal Court Approves Settlement for Drivers at Pizza Luce

On February 4, 2025, Biller & Kimble secured a significant win for delivery drivers at Pizza Luce, a Minnesota pizza chain with nine locations. The District of Minnesota finalized a $2.15 million settlement for drivers who worked for the company from June 9, 2020, to May 31, 2024.

The lawsuit asserted that the company did not fully reimburse drivers for vehicle expenses—such as gas, maintenance, and wear-and-tear—incurred while using personal vehicles to deliver pizzas. The settlement provides that a check will be mailed to each of the drivers affected by the company’s vehicle policy. The average individual payout to the drivers was $3,309.13. But, this settlement, like others, goes beyond money; it represents justice for drivers who navigated traffic, snow, and late-night shifts to serve their community’s pizza cravings.

If you’re a pizza delivery driver and believe you’re being under-reimbursed, contact our team for a free consultation. Call (513) 202-0710 or complete our online form to explore how we can assist you.
