Philip represents employees in collective and class action lawsuits under the Fair Labor Standards Act. His practice area concentrates on helping employees who are victims of wage theft, overtime, and tip pool violations. In addition to his collective and class action work, Philip has litigated dozens of arbitration and individual wage and hour actions. He applies an individual touch to each case, ensuring each client understands and appreciates the complexities of his or her case. Coming from a trial work background, Philip uses these experiences in the courtroom to create satisfying and beneficial resolutions.

Philip is also a part of Biller & Kimble’s personal injury practice. He has litigated numerous personal injury matters. Of note, Philip was able to overcome a motion for summary judgment on the applicability of the Ohio personal injury damage caps for his client. This case settled in the high six-figure range.

Before joining Biller & Kimble, he worked in civil and criminal litigation matters at both public and private employers. In private practice, he was also part of a trial team that overcame a summary judgment motion filed by a federal agency against a local Ohio business. Philip is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was awarded the Judge Joseph Harper Memorial Award for excellence in trial advocacy.
