Biller & Kimble, LLC's personal injury lawyers combine compassion for our clients with our brand of aggressive advocacy honed in our complex, high-stakes class action work.
Tires screech. Is it behind you? Before your brain can process the sound...
you experience a combination of feelings and sounds. Sudden movement, a sickening crunch, followed by pain, confusion, and fear. In an instant, your life changes - maybe because of your injuries, or maybe because your loved one is injured or worse. Why? The driver behind you thought it was more important to text "lol. ur pic is sooooo cute!" instead of watching the road.
This is the essence of personal injury law - holding people accountable for their negligent actions that hurt someone. The law can never truly compensate you for permanent injuries, especially brain injuries or, God forbid, for the wrongful death of a loved one. All it can do is offer money. But, the money is something. The financial compensation can help with medical bills, funeral costs, or life care plans.
When you are seriously injured, your lawyer needs to be at least two things:
1. Compassionate toward you, and
2. an ice-cold, strategic trial lawyer toward opposing counsel and insurance companies.
This is where we excel.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire a personal injury lawyer?
Personal injury lawyers' fees are usually based on what they get for the their clients in a settlement or judgment. This is called a "contingency fee" because it is "contingent" on whether and how much the lawyer gets for his or her client. If the lawyer does not get anything for the client, the lawyer does not get paid at all.
I was injured in a car accident. When should I call a lawyer?
In general, it is not a good idea to deal with insurance adjusters yourself. Their goal is often to reduce or eliminate the liability of their insured. In other words, they want to save money for the insurance company. Because they will usually try to contact you right away, you should have a lawyer right away.
I am not sure whether I have a case. Should I still call?
Calling us is risk-free. We do not charge potential personal injury clients for an initial consultation, so you have nothing to lose by calling us.
Biller & Kimble, LLC's Ohio Personal Injury Practice
In 2019, we added an experienced personal injury attorney to our team—Louise Roselle. While many personal injury lawyers claim to be “accomplished trial lawyers,” few can say that they were trial counsel in a lawsuit that resulted in a half-billion dollar jury verdict. Louise can say that. Louise brings her 47 years of experience and passion for righting wrongs to our firm’s personal injury practice.
We represent individuals who are hurt by others. This includes victims of car, truck, and bike accidents and consumers hurt by products. We handle wrongful death, product liability, car crashes, truck accidents, premises liability, and similar cases. We are experienced in dealing with insurance companies and defense attorneys.
Like most law firms with a personal injury practice, we represent clients on a “contingency fee basis.” This means that we get paid only if we get you paid. There is no cost to consult with us on a personal injury case, so you have nothing to lose by contacting us.
Unlike at least some personal injury firms, however, we are not a “mill” that aims to generate as many cases as they can and settle them as quickly possible. We use the same tailored, strategic approach that we use in our class actions for our personal injury clients. To do this, we are selective in the cases we take on, but, if we represent you, you can be assured that we will give you the high quality, aggressive representation we are known for.
